A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support your favorite causes.
If you already benefit from donor-advised funds, please make checks payable to The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Los Angeles and designate Together in Mission. Add the parish name that you wish to credit with your donation.
Stocks, bonds, and mutual funds are popular gift assets as they may generate multiple tax benefits. Talk to your accountant or financial adviser about the benefits such a gift may provide for you.
Please send written instructions to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Finance Office, Attention Advancement Services, and designate:

When you donate through the workplace, you can make a difference in your own community.
Your gift to Together in Mission could be matched dollar for dollar by your employer! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees.
If your company uses an online matching gift platform, submit a matching gift verification request through your company’s online portal using the entity name as shown below. You can also obtain the appropriate matching gift verification form from your personnel/human resources office.
If you are over 70 ½ you may be able to make a gift to Together in Mission through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA). A QCD offers advantages to you overtaking a taxable IRA distribution and then contributing the proceeds of that distribution to a charity. By making a QCD directly from your IRA to Together in Mission the amount of the QCD will not be included in your adjusted gross income.
A QCD permits annual direct transfers to a qualified charity totaling up to $105,000 of tax-deferred IRA savings. Importantly, QCDs count toward satisfying Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) for the year when the QCD is made.
If you intend to make a gift through a QCD please ensure the check is made payable or designated to TOGETHER IN MISSION.
If you are interested in making a gift through a QCD please contact our office or your Financial Advisor.
